Just after Bella recovers from the vampire attack that nearly claimed her life, she tries to settle down, relax and enjoy her time with her vampire boyfriend, Edward Cullen. At Bella’s birthday, she cuts herself and Jasper (Jackson Rathbone) cannot control himself. The Cullen’s decide it is time to leave and Bella is heartbroken. For 3 months Bella is nothing but a lifeless form, a ghost. After a while, she decides to go visit Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) with a couple of broken and battered motor cycles. As she visits him more often her face begins to show more colour and she actually enjoys herself. The motorbikes are complete and they venture out to ride them. As Bella revs the engine she hears a voice inside her head. It was Edward’s voice. She all of a sudden, let's go of the clutch to quickly and hurls forward off the bike. She decides not to do it again, as Charlie becomes nosey. One day when she is out at the movies with Jacob and Mike (Michael Welch), Mike gets sick and they have to go home. The next day, Bella calls Jacob but he supposedly has mono and she is not aloud to visit. Bella then becomes very anxious and returns to her lifeless state. When Jacob calls her, he tells her that he is not aloud to see her anymore because he has a secret. Werewolf. Jacob Black, along with others, have been enforced to protect Forks from the vampires. As Victoria (Rachelle Lefevre) tries to hunt down Bella she is stopped by Jacob and his gang of werewolves. Bella and Jacob decide to go cliff diving, but Jacob doesn’t turn up, so she decides to go by herself. As she fears about the size of the cliff she doesn’t realize the storm approaching the water. As she jumps off and enters the water she begins to drown and is rescued, just in time, by Jacob. When she is driving home she notices Alice (Ashley Greene), Edward’s “Sister", and pulls over. What happens next could decide whether Bella is worth kept mortal. The Volturi have more to do with Bella's future than even Alice could have predicted.
